I’ve been having fun here in Orlando. Running crazy, of course, but still trying to take some downtime to reenergize. Started off today at the Cape May restaurant with my agent and her writers. Goofy, Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse kept us company. Thought you’d enjoy this picture.

DJ here. I have defeated the irksome Jake the Snake and now have regained control of my blog. Well, I would have control, but Alexis asked me to point out that Grey and Piper will see the release of their story next week. The official release date is July 27th. I’m so happy for the two of them. I feel like I should go capering down the sidewalk ahead of them, tossing rose petals as I go. Yep, I can see it now. NOT!

Instead, without asking Alexis, I’m going to give away a copy of their book, Dark Warrior Untamed, to one lucky person this week. Tell me whose story (besides mine, which is too obvious) that you’d like to see someday and why.

So, folks, get your comments posted and I’ll pick the winner on . . . um . . . Thursday. Yeah, that works. That’ll give Alexis time to get it into the mail on Friday.

Hello ladies. (DJ promised me lots of ladies, so I hope I’m in the right place.) My name is TJ O’Banion and I’m here because some jerk named Jake was going to attempt another takeover on DJ’s blog. So, DJ asked if I’d like to come in through my server so he could set up firewalls strong enough to burn through Jake’s back door. A kind of computer geek bait and switch, but I’m no computer jock…I just build log cabins.I met DJ one day while I was chopping a load of firewood. It was hot, sunny (had my plaid shirt hanging on a tree branch near by.) DJ swerved to a stop when he saw me, climbed out and (this is where it gets weird) challenged me to a wood-chopping contest. He was impressed as hell with my ax (ran his fingers over the blade like a man with a lover) then pulled his ax out from under the seat of his truck. (mine’s bigger, heh heh)His ax wasn’t anything like mine…his looked as if it could slice a man’s head right off his neck. No matter. Heh heh. I won that little contest and we’ve been good buddies ever since, although I’ve never understood why he said I was good with an ax for a civilian. (what kind of armed service uses axes as weapons in this century?)Anyway…I’m here because he promised me I could meet some great women over here. Smart women. (I love the smart ones best.) My brothers and I (that’d be my youngers: Deke and Eli) are lonely.Me? I want to find a good woman happy enough with me to stay on the Olympic Peninsula. All I want is to build my cabins and my business, my family business. Deke’s been through a rough patch, but he’s pulling out of it now and Eli? Huh, what can I say, the man’s got itchy feet and can’t seem to settle. I want him home where he belongs. And meeting a good woman will do that.Thing is, there aren’t a lot of women on the Peninsula, that the three of us haven’t, ahem….well. Let’s just say they know us at our best and our worst.What we need are women we’ve never met, women we can have fresh starts with. Women we can fall for like (forgive me for this one) fall for like top heavy timber in a high wind. KER THUMP!!! Rumor is that Bonnie Edwards is obliging us with that very gift come October. Three brothers, three women all in one book. It’s not going to be easy, because apparently these women are smart, brave, strong and I think mine may even be a little bullheaded, but I have it on good authority (DJ’s) that Alexis and Bonnie always sort things out in the end.But in the meantime….I’m still lonely and longing for some sweet smelling company.
