Introducing . . .

The newest member of my office menagerie!  This fine, handsome fellow was a Christmas present from my friend Janice Kay Johnson.  He’s about 30″ from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail.  I love his lean build and bright green eyes.  The only problem is that he doesn’t yet have a name.  I haven’t been able to come up with anything snazzy, so I thought I’d ask for suggestions.  So any brilliant ideas for a dragon???

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years!

  1. My kids want to name the dragon Pegasus or Firebreather. I like the name Troch but I will let you decied.
Pegasus- came from Logan (age 6)
Firebreather- came from Ethan (age 8)

all though they are not old enough to read my books they do have their own books that they love to read.

  2. I think you could name him Ashokan, after the folks song Ashokan Farewell. After all, if he’s fire breathing, he could turn anything into ash! Happy New Year and tell Lonzo I’m rooting for him.

  3. How about “Fuchur”?

That’s the original german name of the dragon from “The Neverending Story” by Michael Ende. I don’t know what he’s called in the english version of the book / film.
It’s pronounced sth. like “foochoor”, the ch is like in “Loch Ness”. ^^

Though your dragon doesn’t look like Fuchur, I like the name ’cause Fuchur is a “Glücksdrache” – a dragon that brings luck. ;)

  4. Hi, Everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season.
I loved the next chapter of Lonzo’s story, Alexis. Thanks! Eagerly anticipating the next instalment.
I think your new addition is very cute. He reminds me of the baby dragon from the Harry Potter book, so my suggestion is to name him Norbert.

  5. Good morning, everyone!

Sorry I’ve been quiet, but I’ve been putting the finishing touches on a couple of manuscripts this past couple of weeks. However, I just hit the “send” button on the second one, so hopefully things will be calmer now. I’ll be starting the third book in my fantasy series after I take a little time to shovel off my desk. The clutter is a bit out of control right now–

  6. “Fucher” is SO funny when you say it out loud… I like “Torch” because it’s simple and rolls off the tongue. But I want to throw “Kincaid” in the mix.
